Bai Tu Long Bay cruise overview
Renea is a small wooden boat: 11 cabins, built 2015, working Bai Tu Long Bay. Most boats Ava sells carry twenty to forty cabins, so this one is a different kind of trip.
Small ship, quiet bay
Eleven cabins means roughly twenty passengers. You will recognise everyone by dinner, the kayaks go out together rather than in shifts, and the crew have time for you. Bai Tu Long adds to that: it sits north-east of the main route and takes a fraction of the traffic.
The itinerary reflects it. Day one runs to Cong Do and Cap La, day two to Thien Canh Son Cave, with a cooking demonstration and a proper Vietnamese lunch before you dock rather than a rushed brunch.
Choosing a cabin
Deluxe, from $132 per person, has no balcony. Suite, from $157, does. On a small ship where you will spend a lot of time on deck anyway that $25 matters less than usual, but a balcony is still a balcony.
The Deluxe Triple, from $135 per person, sleeps three and also has no balcony.
