What Rosy is good at
The sunset party on the first evening is the thing people remember, and the kitchen has a reputation for handling special diets properly. If you or someone in your group is vegetarian, say so when you book and Rosy will put together a separate menu rather than picking meat out of the shared dishes.
Day two is deliberately unhurried: sunrise, Tai Chi, a long breakfast with Vietnamese coffee on deck, then Bright Cave by kayak or bamboo boat, whichever you prefer.
Choosing a cabin
Junior and Senior are both 28 sqm at $310 and $340. The VIP Suite is 55 sqm at $380.
So $40 over the Senior doubles your floor area. Unless the ship is full, the VIP is the only cabin on Rosy worth thinking about; the gap between the other two is deck position only.
All three have balconies.
Before you book
Transfer from Hanoi is not in the cabin price. It is about 2.5 hours to Tuan Chau Port, then a private boat out to the ship.
Meals, entrance fees, kayaking and the cooking class are in the fare. On board there is also a spa and a seasonal outdoor jacuzzi on the second deck.
