Halong Bay cruise overview
Alisa Premier has 22 cabins on Halong Bay and has been running since 2017. It is one of the few ships on the bay with a gym, on the third deck.
What the two days look like
This is a Halong Bay route. Day one takes in Surprise Cave, the largest cave in the bay, then Luon Cave by kayak or bamboo boat; the second morning is Titop Island. The schedule is tightly timed: boarding 12:30, lunch 13:00, breakfast from 06:45 on day two.
Choosing a cabin: read the triple carefully
Senior Suite is 21 sqm at $320. Royal Suite VIP is 35 sqm at $430, which is two thirds more space for $110 and the best room on the ship.
Then the one to think hard about. The Triple Senior Suite costs $470, is 22 sqm, and has no balcony. It is the most expensive cabin on board, barely larger than the cheapest, and it is the only one without a door onto the water. It exists to sleep three, not to be nice. If you are three people and comfort matters more than staying together, ask Ava about two Senior Suites instead: $640 for two rooms, both with balconies.
