Lan Ha Bay cruise overview
Le Journey Elegance launched in 2025 with 22 cabins on Lan Ha Bay. Along with Majesty Prime and Velar it is one of the newest hulls on the bay.
What Le Journey is good at
The afternoon anchorage is Tra Bau, which was used as a filming location for Kong: Skull Island. You kayak or swim there, and it is one of the quieter corners of Lan Ha rather than a busy stop.
Day two is deliberately easy: sampan through the arch of Dark and Bright Cave into the lagoon, back on board, brunch at 10:00 while the ship crosses the islands home. Nothing to climb, nothing to rush.
Choosing a cabin
Junior Suite is 28 sqm ($285) and Senior Suite is 30 sqm ($315), one deck higher. The Elegance Suite is 45 sqm at $345, the largest room on board and the best value by a wide margin. There are only two of them, at the bow.
The Panorama Suite is 35 sqm on the top deck, with a large window and beds for three adults ($485 for the whole room May to September, $510 October to April). It suits three people who want the highest deck. For two, the Elegance Suite is bigger and cheaper.
Travelling as three on a tighter budget, the Family Triple is 30 sqm at $430 on the first deck, with a double and a single bed.
