Da Nang & Hoi An tour overview

An honest note: this is a long day, and the Marble Mountains mean around 280 steps unless you pay for the lift on the first part. Lunch is one local dish; dinner is the proper meal.

Children. Children under 5 travel free when they share a seat and a meal with a parent. Ages 5 to 9 pay 75 per cent of the adult price, and from 10 years the adult price applies. Children under 4 need a small boat ticket for the lantern boat, paid on the spot. Tell us the ages when you book and we apply it before you pay.

  3. On the day. About 12 hours, 07:30 to 20:00. Your guide keeps the timings loose enough for photographs and questions.

Son Tra, the Marble Moun

Son Tra, the Marble Mountains, Cam Thanh and Hoi An by night

  • Meals: lunch (one local dish) and set dinner.

    • 07:30 to 08:30, pickup at your hotel.
    • Son Tra: Linh Ung Pagoda, the Lady Buddha and the bonsai garden.
    • Marble Mountains: stone carving workshops, pagodas and the Huyen Khong and Tang Chon caves, then Am Phu Cave.
    • 12:00, lunch of one local dish.
    • 13:30, basket boat in the Cam Thanh coconut forest.
    • Old Town walk: Traditional Performing Arts House show, Museum of Trade Ceramics, Tan Ky House, Cantonese Assembly Hall and the Japanese Covered Bridge. Free time at the night market and dinner.
    • Around 18:30, sampan ride and flower lantern on the Hoai River. Drop-off around 19:00 in Hoi An or 20:00 in Da Nang.
