Halong Bay cruise overview
L'amour is a 2025 ship with 33 cabins on Halong Bay. The dining room is called Hoa Lu, after the tenth-century capital, and the morning class on deck is Vovinam rather than the Tai Chi almost every other boat runs.
The balcony line is the whole decision
Read the cabin list in two halves.
Century at $380 (26 sqm) and Oriental at $410 (30 sqm) have no balcony. The next cabin up, Imperial, is 55 sqm with a balcony at $650.
So there is a $240 gap between the most expensive windowless room and the cheapest one with a door outside. There is nothing in between. If a balcony is part of what you are paying for on a Halong cruise, budget for the Imperial from the start rather than talking yourself up the list.
