The Grand is six years newer than the original Indochine and has eleven fewer cabins, which means fewer people aboard. But its entry cabin is 28 sqm against the original's 32, and it costs $55 more.
You are paying for a 2025 hull and a quieter ship. You are not paying for space.
The four cabins
Junior Suite 28 sqm $185, Suite 32 sqm $215, Executive Suite 34 sqm $250, President Suite 46 sqm $335.
The gaps are small until the President, which adds twelve square metres and is the only cabin here with a genuinely different footprint.
The President Suite does not rise in high season
It stays at $335 all year while the Junior goes from $185 to $210 and the Suite from $215 to $225. In December and January the gap between the top and bottom cabin narrows, which makes the President better value then than it looks now.
