Halora Nova is a steel cruise ship launched in 2026, with 40 cabins, all with a balcony, sailing Lan Ha Bay. It boards at Tuan Chau Marina in Ha Long and crosses into Lan Ha, from $153 per person in low season.
Among the 2026 builds Ava sells, Halora Nova has the lowest entry fare: $153, against Nostalgia at $154, Nostalgia Sails at $157 and Celina at $170.
All cabins have a private balcony and a bathtub. Deluxe Balcony (30 m²) is $153 per person, Premium Balcony (30 m²) $160, the Suite (45 m², with a private sunbed) $187 and the Grand Suite (60 m²) $279.
The Premium Triple (30 m², one double and one single bed) sleeps three adults and is sold per cabin: $478 for up to three guests.
In high season the Deluxe Balcony rises to $165 and the Suite to $203 per person; the Premium Triple is $518 per cabin.
Holiday surcharge: Halora adds 20% to the cabin price for departures on 24 December, 31 December and the first three days of Tet (Lunar New Year; 6–8 February 2027). The booking table does not add it automatically, so we confirm the surcharge with you on WhatsApp before your booking is final.
All-season jacuzzi pool, spa and massage (charged on board), restaurant, bar, sundeck, lift and Wi-Fi. Kayaking, the cooking class and squid fishing are included in the fare.
A ship launched in 2026 has almost no independent review history. That cuts both ways: the fittings are new, but nobody has reported back yet on the service. Ask us what we are hearing from recent guests.
The road transfer between Hanoi and Tuan Chau is quoted separately.
Halora Nova Cruise is a 5-star cruise on Lan Ha Bay with 40 cabins. It is worth it if you want what it does best: a new 2026 ship where every cabin has a private balcony, priced below most 5-star ships on Lan Ha Bay: from $165 per person in high season, against a typical $170. The main thing to weigh up: 40 cabins makes it a big ship, so expect more people at each activity.
