Garden Peak is a wooden junk with only 8 cabins, run by the Cycad Cruise group. It sailed for years as Paradise Peak and was refitted and relaunched as Garden Peak in 2026, now on Bai Tu Long Bay.
Eight cabins, a small-ship night
With eight cabins the ship rarely carries more than 16 guests, so meals, the sundeck and the kayaks never feel crowded. The route is the Cycad one: board at Sunworld International Harbour, Vung Vieng fishing village by kayak or bamboo boat in the afternoon, the night at anchor near Cong Do, and Thien Canh Son Cave on the second morning.
Choosing a cabin
Every cabin has a bathtub and a separate shower. The two Semi-Balcony Junior Suites on deck 1 are the entry rooms, from $136 per person. The four Executive Balcony Suites have a full balcony, from $147, and the two Premium Executive Suites add a large balcony with a jacuzzi, from $159.
There are no family or connecting rooms; a child can share with two adults using an extra bed.
Before you book
Departure is Sunworld International Harbour in Bai Chay, about 2.5 hours from Hanoi, then a tender out to the junk. You return to Halong International Cruise Port at about 11:00 on day two. Transfer is charged separately.
