- Leave the Old Quarter by jeep and cross Long Bien Bridge over the Red River.
- Ride through the back alleys of Hanoi's outskirts into rural villages, past farmers in the fields and livestock.
- Arrive at the Co Loa ancient citadel, dating back to around 280 BC, and hear the history and legends behind it.
- Walk the village to see wet rice farming, the local market and handicraft work.
- Sit down to a home cooked meal with a local family, then ride back to your hotel.
