An honest note: this is a big group day on a shared speedboat of up to 35 people, and the crossing can be rough. The trip only runs when the sea allows, which rules out many days from October to February.

Group departure. You join a small group on the same route with the same guide standard.

Travelling alone. One person on a group departure pays $57, shown in the booking box before you pay.

Children. Children aged 1 to 4 pay 50 per cent of the adult price and ages 5 to 9 pay 80 per cent. From 10 years the adult price applies. Tell us the ages when you book and we apply it before you pay.

  2. Pickup. Hotel pickup in Hoi An or central Da Nang.
  3. On the day. About 6.5 hours, 08:00 to 14:30 from Hoi An. Your guide keeps the timings loose enough for photographs and questions.

    • 08:00 to 08:30 pickup in Hoi An, or 07:30 in Da Nang, to Cua Dai harbour.
    • 09:00, speedboat to the Cham Islands.
    • Lang Beach: the marine protected area, the boat shelter, Hai Tang Pagoda and the fishing village.
    • 10:00, swimming and snorkelling, about 45 minutes.
    • 11:30, Bai Ong or Bai Chong beach, seafood lunch and time on the beach.
    • 14:00, boat back. Drop-off around 14:30 in Hoi An or 15:00 to 15:30 in Da Nang.

Changing your date counts as a cancellation and a new booking. If we cancel, or weather makes the tour unsafe, we move your date at no cost or refund you in full.
