  • You take a turn rowing the round basket boat, and watch the boatmen spin them in the show.
  • A meal of seven local dishes at a fisherman's house to finish.

An honest note: the basket boat show is loud and touristy, with music and a lot of boats in a small stretch of water. The quieter part is the fishing, further in.

Children. Children under 5 travel free when they share a seat and a meal with a parent. Ages 5 to 9 pay 75 per cent of the adult price, and from 10 years the adult price applies. Tell us the ages when you book and we apply it before you pay.

  2. Pickup. Hotel pickup in Hoi An.
  3. On the day. About 3.5 hours, 09:00 to 12:30 or 14:00 to 17:30. Your guide keeps the timings loose enough for photographs and questions.
