Da Nang & Hoi An tour overview

Why this trip

  • The Lady Buddha at Linh Ung Pagoda on the Son Tra peninsula, looking out over the bay.
  • The Marble Mountains, where you climb to old pagodas and walk into caves with altars inside the rock.
  • Am Phu Cave, laid out as the Buddhist underworld, strange and a little theatrical.
  • A stop with the Non Nuoc stone carvers and a bowl of Mi Quang for lunch.

An honest note: the Marble Mountains mean stairs: 146 steps to the first tower and 136 more to the caves. There is a paid lift for the first part only. Lunch on the group departure is one local dish.
