There is a trap in the price list that is easy to miss. Two cabins cost exactly the same $290:
The Suite Balcony on the lower deck is 25 sqm and has a balcony. The Panorama Suite is 22 sqm and has no balcony. Same money, three square metres less, and no door onto the water.
The Panorama earns its place only if you have seen the specific view from that cabin and want it. Otherwise take the Suite Balcony. Ava will tell you the same thing if you ring us, so we would rather it were written on the page.
The rest of the list
Suite Balcony on the upper deck is the same 25 sqm at $310, so that $20 is height not space. The Family Suite is 28 sqm at $460 and sleeps three.
What the day looks like
Day two goes through the Dark and Bright Cave area by sampan. The cave formations are the draw, but the quiet is the thing people mention afterwards: a rowed boat makes no noise, so you hear the water and the birds rather than an engine.
Before you book
The shuttle from Hanoi is an extra fee. You check in at Tuan Chau Pier and a tender takes you out to the ship.
