Begin the scenic 120 km drive to Ninh Binh, passing rice fields and rural villages along the way.

Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, including the historic temple dedicated to King Dinh (dating from the 17th century).

Free time to cycle around the countryside.
You can visit Bich Dong Pagoda, explore local villages, or browse small souvenir shops.

Enjoy the highlight of the day — the Trang An boat trip.
Cruise along the Sao Khe River, surrounded by limestone karst mountains, lush forests, and reed fields. The route passes through a series of natural caves with unique rock formations and impressive stalactites.

You’ll also recognize filming locations from the movie Kong: Skull Island, including the recreated tribal village area used in the film.

Visit Mua Cave Viewpoint, famous for its panoramic views.
Climb approximately 486 stone steps to the top for sweeping views of Tam Coc valley, limestone peaks, and seasonal rice fields.
