Lan Ha Bay cruise overview
Heritage Binh Chuan carries 20 cabins, all suites, on Lan Ha Bay and has been running since 2019. It is named after Bach Thai Buoi, the Vietnamese shipowner whose Binh Chuan was the first Vietnamese-run steamer to work this coast, and the boat leans into that story rather than into generic luxury.
What Heritage is good at
Two details tell you what kind of ship this is. The morning session on the sundeck is Vovinam, the Vietnamese martial art, not the Tai Chi that every other boat runs. And the dining room is L'Indochine, a proper restaurant rather than a buffet hall.
If you want a cruise that feels specifically Vietnamese instead of a generic Asia-Pacific hotel that floats, this is the one on the list.
Choosing a cabin
Delta and Ocean Suite are both 33 sqm at $360 and $390, so that $30 is position on the ship. Captain Suite is 38 sqm at $450 and Regal Suite is 46 sqm at $510.
The useful comparison is Ocean at $390 against Regal at $510: $120 buys you 13 extra square metres. Whether that is worth it depends on how much time you plan to spend in the cabin rather than on deck.

Pickup is from the Old Quarter on the new highway to Tuan Chau Pier, charged separately. The cave trip leaves at 07:15 by bamboo boat, so day two starts early. Brunch is at 10:00 and you are back at the harbour around noon.
Kayaking, the cooking class and entrance fees are in the fare. Spa is charged on board.
